Porque estamos aqui

Dos vários problemas ambientais, vamos tratar o degelo dos pólos e o aquecimento global.
Com este trabalho pretendemos relatar a situação actual do nosso planeta e as possíveis consequências no futuro.
Nós, as Sementes do amanhã, acreditamos que se todos contribuíssem um pouco que fosse, a pouco e pouco iríamos conseguindo remediar o mal que fizemos ao nosso Planeta. E quem sabe, evitar muitas consequências que acabariam por ser catastróficas.

Among environment problems, we will deal with the melting of the poles and global warming. With this work we intend to report the current situation of our Planet and the possible consequences in the future. We, The Seeds of Tomorrow, we believe that if everyone contributes a little, step by step we will manage to solve the harm they have done to our planet and who knows, avoid many consequences that would inevitably be catastrophic.

A origem do degelo é devido ao efeito de estufa, um processo que ocorre quando uma parte da radiação solar reflectida pela superfície terrestre é absorvida por determinados gases presentes na atmosfera. Como consequência disso, o calor fica retido, não sendo liberado para o espaço. O efeito estufa dentro de uma determinada faixa é de vital importância pois, sem ele, a vida como a conhecemos não poderia existir. O que poderia ser catastrófico seria a ocorrência de um agravamento do efeito de estufa, que destabilizaria o equilibrio energético no nosso planeta. Isso originaria um fenómeno conhecido como aquecimento global.

Como evitar o degelo ?

Para evitar o degelo o homem pode fazer coisas simples, tais como:

1.- Evitar atirar lixo ao chão;

2.- Optar por transportes públicos pois o nivel de poluição é menor;

3.- Reciclar o lixo correctamente, nos seus respectivos ecopontos;

4.- Utilizar sempre que possível as fontes de energias renováveis.

Se todos contribuirmos para o mesmo, talvez haja possibilidades

de remediar a situação actual do nosso planeta.

3 .- Recycle the waste properly, in their ecopoints;

4 .- Use where possible renewable energy sources. If we all contribute to it, there may be opportunities to remedy the current situation of our planet.
